It’s raining updates today for Android devices, and the latest to join the list is Moto X Pure edition at Sprint. Although this one is pretty minor update compared to Marshmallow release for AT&T’s Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus that took place couple of hours ago.
For the Sprint Moto X Pure, the latest update brings security fixes from Google for the months of April and May. Nothing else seems to be part of the update, whose software version is MPHS24.49-18-4.
Roll out of the OTA has already begun, and it should be completed by Sprint in a week or two.
If you are rocking a Moto X Pure at Sprint, then look for a System update in Settings. It’s always the best to keep your device fully updated to latest build to protect it against harmful code.
