T-Mobile took the lead with AT&T catching up pretty fast (to our blatant surprise, actually!). And the latest one to follow suit is Sprint. We are talking about the Android Nougat roll out by these carriers to Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge devices.

Sprint is seeding out the stable build of Nougat update to beat testers currently which will gradually roll out to all other users of S7 and S7 Edge.

The beta users have reported receiving the Nougat update weighing just 167MB, the reason behind the light weight being that they were already on Nougat builds. However, the new Android OS update will hit the Marshmallow based Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge devices with a hefty build of 1.2GB.

The update being OTA should pop up on your notifications on its own when it arrives for your handset. Or else, you can check for it manually by heading to Settings » About device » Download updates manually.

Meanwhile, Sprint HTC 10 has also started receiving the Android 7.0 update which arrives as build number 2.42.651.6 and weighs in at 1.3GB.
