Sprint Galaxy S7 and S7 edge units are receiving a new firmware update which installs the March security patch. The update is a minor one and weighs around 50MB.

Arriving as build number G930PVPS4BQC1 for Galaxy S7 device on Sprint network, the March security patch update also brings regular bug fixes and system enhancements. Sprint Galaxy S7 edge is receiving the firmware update as build number G935PVPS4BQC1.

The update is being rolled out over the air and as such may take a while to appear on your device. If you do not want to wait, you can check for it right away by going to Settings > About device > System updates. But before hitting the download button ensure that your handset is at least 50 percent charged and connected to a WiFi network.

Galaxy S7 and S7 edge on Sprint are running the Android Nougat OS which was released by the network in February.
