The Sprint Galaxy Note 4 is receiving an OTA update with build number N910PVPU3BOF5, but it isn’t Android 5.1.1 as you’d expect at this time when Samsung is raining 5.1.1 for most of its flagships. Insteas, this is an update addressed to ‘Reactivation Lock’ on your Sprint Note 4.
The update changelog only reads “Reactivation Lock updates”, we aren’t sure if this means to fix the trouble users often have with reactivation lock on Samsung devices OR this is to further enhance reactivation lock security on the device.
The OTA update is already on the roll, however, if you care about root access, we’d recommend you to stay off from the update until it’s confirmed to be root friendly.
