The pieces of the Galaxy Note 2’s US and Canada release date puzzle continue to fall in place, as Sprint has just made the release date and price for the device official. The Galaxy Note 2 will be headed to Sprint’s 4G LTE network on October 25th, for a price of $299.99 on a 2-year contract.
The Galaxy Note 2 will be Sprint’s first LTE-enabled quad-core device, and with its large 5.5″ Super AMOLED display, blazing fast quad-core Exynos processor, 2GB RAM, improved S Pen, as well as exclusive software features such as Multi-View that allows true app multitasking, Air View that allows you to view pictures by hovering the S Pen above them, or apps specifically designed for use with the S Pen, the Galaxy Note 2 will no doubt be a huge seller. Reviews already tout it as an amazing Android smartphone, so faster connectivity will only add to its appeal.
Sprint is the first US carrier to officially announce the Galaxy Note 2, and with the official US event for the Galaxy Note 2 set for October 24th, we should soon see release dates and pricing for other US carriers as well.
Any of you on Sprint getting the Galaxy Note 2?
