It was on Monday that Sony announced the Xperia Z4 Tablet, its flagship slate at the MWC 2015 tech show and so soon the pricing details of the device have popped up.
While the availability of the device is slated to debut in June, a French website FrAndroid has revealed that the Xperia Z4 Tablet will be priced starting from €559 in France. This pricing is for the Wi-Fi only variant of the slate and the 4G LTE variant is likely to be priced at €659.
Apart from this, the Bluetooth keyboard that can transform the tablet into a laptop is priced at $100. Eventually, the cost of the Xperia Z4 Tablet with the Bluetooth keyboard will be €659 and €759 for the Wi-Fi and 4G LTE models respectively.
To refresh on its specifications, the Xperia Z4 Tablet is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop optimized for tablets and is bestowed with a 10.1 inch IPS display with 2560×1600 pixel resolution. The screen is equipped with Triluminos technology and X-Reality Mobile engine for superior quality.
When it comes to raw hardware, the tablet is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC housing a 64 bit octa core processor, Adreno 430 GPU and 3 GB of RAM. The Xperia Z4 Tablet packs in 32 GB of inbuilt storage space expandable up to 128 GB.
For imaging, the tablet has an 8 MP main camera with a Sony Exmor RS camera and a 5 MP front facer. There is 3G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi and GPS for connectivity and everything is juiced up by a 6,000 mAh battery.
There is IP68 certification for the Xperia Z4 Tablet making it water and dust resistant. Notably, the micro USB charging port does not have a cap to make it easy for recharging.
