Sony’s latest smartphone Xperia XZs, which was unveiled in the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last month, is heading towards China with TENAA giving green signal to the phone. The dual SIM variant of the high-end smartphone with model number G8232 has appeared on TENAA.

The Xperia XZs made its debut at the MWC event along side three other devices namely Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XA1 and Xperia XA1 Ultra. Targeted at the camera enthusiasts, Xperia XZs comes in two SIM variants-single Nano-SIM (G8231) and Dual SIM (G8232). It also comes in two storage options- 32GB and 64GB.

Coming to other specs, Xperia XZs is powered by quad-core Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 paired with 4GB RAM. It sports a 5.2-inch 1080p display with Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The internal storage is expandable upto 256 GB via microSD card. Packing in a 2900mAh battery, the phone rocks Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.

The main selling point in the otherwise average specsheet smartphone is the camera on board. The 19MP rear camera on Xperia XZs offers the best quality images when coupled with Sony’s new Motion Eye feature, which the company claims is the ‘world’s first memory embedded camera’. There’s a 13MP front shooter to click wonderful selfies.

The phone which comes in three color options of Warm Silver, Ice Blue and Black will carry a price tag of 4699 Yuan in China, as per a past leak.
