Looks like Sony may also be planning on launching a new Xperia device with a large tall display and an aspect ratio of 21:9. Renders of the device, rumored Xperia X Ultra, have surfaced online with a 6.45-inch display.

Other specs of the mid-range phablet have also been revealed. The last phablet from Sony, the Xperia XA Ultra, featured a 6.0-inch display. However, this new one is said to feature a tall display instead of just a wide one. This will give it that unique 21:9 aspect ratio.

This aspect ratio is higher than that of the recently released Samsung Galaxy S8 and the LG G6. Both of them also have unique aspect ratios thanks to their taller bezel-less displays. From the renders, it seems the Xperia X Ultra would also feature super thin bezels.

As per the leak, the Xperia X Ultra would feature a Snapdragon 660 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. A 19MP camera would be available at the rear, whereas a 13MP unit will take care of selfies. It would run on Android 7.0 Nougat and feature a rather small 3050 mAh battery.
