The Japanese tech firm Sony has released the dual SIM variant of Xperia E4 in India. The handset is priced at Rs 12,490 and will be available from today via Sony Center stores and other leading electronics outlets. As of now, Sony has not revealed any information regarding the single SIM model of the Xperia E4.

The Sony Xperia E4 Dual is given a 5 inch IPS LCD display with a qHD resolution of 960×540 pixels and it employs a 1.3 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6582 processor paired with 1 GB of RAM for moderate multitasking and performance. The handset packs 8 GB of default storage capacity that can be expanded further using a micro SD card.

On the imaging front, the Xperia E4 Dual flaunts a 5 MP rear snapper accompanied with LED flash for enhanced performance under low light conditions. Up front, there is a 2 MP front facing snapper to handle the selfies and video conferencing departments.  The device is juiced up by a 2,300 mAh battery that is touted to pump in up to two days of backup with the Battery Stamina Mode enabled.

The Sony Xperia E4 Dual has been launched in Black and White colors. The device features the OmniBalance design styling of Sony and it comes with other aspects such as feature curved edges, scratch resistant display, textured back panel, stainless steel camera ring and diamond-cut aluminum power button.

Fueled by Android 4.4.4 KitKat, the device is preloaded with PartyShare music sharing app that lets users to share music via Wi-Fi direct. This app can be downloaded on the other Xperia smartphones based on Android KitKat or above from the Play Store.
