Snapchat users, you will soon be able to play games with your friends on your fav app as part of their new venture, Snap Games. The company announced that they plan to release a slew of games for the app, and one of them is called Bitmoji Party. It is believed to be inspired by Nintendo’s Mario Party.
These games will be launched via the rocket button in the app’s chat feature. In a tweet posted by the company, you can see the way Bitmoji Party is supposed to work. You will have to create 3D avatars of yourself that can play a series of mini-games with up to eight friends.

You will be able to play these games with friends in — you guessed it — real-time, which is a must-have for this sorta fun.
Snapchat had acquired an Australian Gaming Studio sometime last year, so Snap Games doesn’t really come as a surprise to many of us. However, this new development does sound like a lot of fun.
Bitmoji Party has been created by Snapchat, however, a host of game developers have also been brought on board to expand Snap Games: you will find names like Spry Fox, ZeptoLab, Game Closure, PikPok, and Zynga.
Tiny Royale, a battle royale-style game created by Zynga, will find a spot too. We will also see games like Alphabear Hustle, Snake Squad, and Zombie Rescue Squad, on the app. These games will be free, this will be “supported” by Ads, according to Engadget. So watch out for that. Your gaming experience may not necessarily be hassle-free in the upcoming Snap Games.
Snapchat made the announcement at the Snap partner Summit in LA, last week. We’re really looking forward to giving these games a go. Go tell your friends about it, who else are you going to play with?
Do you think games will be a success on Snapchat as it plans to expand its business even when it’s having a hard time attracting new users?
