Skyward Steppes is a dojo arena challenge in Fortnite LEGO Ninjago. The Spinjitzu Monastery serves as the starting location for the game and a training area for ninjas.
When you enter it, you will hear the sounds of battle as you are transported to an unfamiliar land. The gameplay revolves around teaming up with Selial and defending the monastery from enemies. This guide provides all the steps for successfully defending the monastery and unlocking Llyod in the game.
Walkthrough
Step 1: Talk to Nial
Click on the Play on the homescreen to connect to a world and start playing. You will enter the Skyward Steppes on Ninjago Island. The game will start at the Monastery of Spinjitzu. Talk to Nial to proceed.
Step 2: Collect the weapons
Nial will tell you that the Monastery is under attack and ask for help. Collect the items from the chest at the back for fighting.
Step 3: Follow Selial
Move inside the Torii gate and follow Selial at the top. She will give you another pair of Bamboo Nunchucks.

Step 4: Break the barrier
Use the Nunchucks to break the barrier and continue further.
Step 5: Battle with enemies
Battle with enemies on the bridge. You will receive a chaos embers, dropped by enemies when defeated.
Step 6: Close the portal
Throw the chaos embers in the portal to close it. This will unlock the Lloyd journal.
Step 7: Speak to Seliel
Talk with Seliel about Lloyd, the nunchucks and her deal. At the end of the conversation, she will ask you to go to Lloyd.
Step 8: Find Lloyd
Continue forward on the bridge and find Lloyd. He will ask you to follow him to check the Dragon Stables.
