Apple has made it better how you’ll share content through AirPlay in the latest macOS Sequoia 15.2 beta. You no longer have to mirror your entire screen, a smarter, more flexible sharing experience has arrived, as reported by MacRumors.
The new AirPlay update is beneficial for presentations and content sharing. You’ll have three distinct options at your fingertips: sharing your entire screen, focusing on a specific window or app, or displaying content on an extended display.
This means you can now keep your private content private while presenting only what you want your audience to see on the big screen.
This update marks a significant improvement over the current version of macOS, which only allows you to mirror your complete display to an Apple TV. The update isn’t coming alone – it’s also bringing along some Apple Intelligence features to the party.
When you get your hands on macOS Sequoia 15.2 in early December, you’ll also discover new features like Image Playground and ChatGPT integration with Siri. Image Playground will let you create playful images in seconds, choosing between Animation, Illustration, or Sketch options, while the ChatGPT integration will enhance your interaction with Writing Tools and other features.
The beta version also introduces improved notification management with priority notifications appearing at the top of your stack, making it easier for you to focus on what matters most. Plus, you’ll find new cleaning tools for your photos and enhanced summarization capabilities across various apps.
