How to reach Selenian’s Mining Base
Selenian’s Mining Base is one of the early endgame locations in StarRupture, placed far east of your starting ship in a rocky, industrial zone. From your habitat or base, head generally eastward across the open terrain, keeping an eye out for clusters of mining structures and warehouses.
The base itself is easy to spot once you’re close: it’s a collection of industrial buildings, including a very tall, three‑story structure with red veins or glowing lines along its edges. This is the main building where the Electronics Blueprint and other valuable loot are kept.

Why the main door doesn’t work
When you approach the tall building, you’ll notice a large, sealed door at ground level. In the current version of StarRupture, this door is non‑functional and cannot be opened through normal interaction.
Instead of the front door, you need to climb to the top floor of the building and enter through the exposed, broken section that’s open to the sky. This is a deliberate design so that players can’t just walk straight in and must explore the structure from the outside.
How to enter through the broken top floor
Here’s how to actually get inside Selenian’s Mining Base:
Step 1: Approach the tall building
Head to the triple‑story building with red veins on its corners, located in the eastern part of the mining base. Make sure you’re well‑armed and have plenty of ammo, as the area is guarded by Selenian aliens, including tougher variants like Goliaths.
Step 2: Climb the hill
Approach the building from the rear by climbing the nearby hill, then jump through the broken wall at the top to enter safely.
Step 3: Enter through the broken rooftop room
On the top floor, look for the partially destroyed room with open walls and ceiling. Jump or walk into this exposed section from outside to access the interior, loot containers, and safely collect all the blueprints.
The only way inside Selenian’s Mining Base
Selenian’s Mining Base can’t be entered through its main door, so the real path in is from above. Climb the tall, red-veined structure and step into the broken, open room on the top floor from the outside, this is the intended workaround. Once inside, you’ll have safe access to the Electronics Blueprint and the rest of the base’s valuable loot.
