FCC and Bluetooth SIG got us many tidbits of the upcoming phones, but this time DLNA Certification too joins hands with us, revealing the upcoming Samsung 4.3 incher, the Stealth V. If you’ve already spotted the ‘android froyo device’ appearing in the description in the above pic, just don’t be upset by that since testing devices are often seen running older OS versions. So, we would definitely expect it to bring the Gingerbread limelight with it as and when it launches.
It’s not the first time we’re hearing about this phone as it appeared few days back too, with all the claims of a super-slim phone. The Stealth V’s code SCH-i510 is pretty close to Fascinate’s SH-i500 (a Galaxy S variant at Verizon) which makes us believe that it’s indeed a Galaxy S successor.
The Samsung Stealth is reported to be the company’s flagship device for first half next year, and it has indeed got some very juicy specs rumored:
- 4.3 inch Super AMOLED 2 display
- 1.2 Ghz processor (maybe dual core?)
- Android 2.3 Gingerbread
- 8 MP Camera capable of shooting 1080p videos
- 14.4 Mbps HSPA
- Bluetooth 3.0
- 16 GB Storage
- Expected Launch: February 2011
Without any doubt, the Samsung Stealth V is quite a charmer you would be proud to carry. BTW, an update at the Engadget page suggests that you cannot really take the pic below as the phone’s design since it actually belongs to a ‘VoIP handset by Apiotek‘. Yea.. things get nasty sometimes!
So, this is yet another great upcoming android phone to watch out for early 2011, the ones we already know about being the Nexus S, Motorola Olympus, LG Star, Sony Ericsson Anju / X12 and the Sony Playstation Phone. What a lineup!
