Samsung is yet to announce the SM-G9198 smartphone, but the device has visited the TENAA website in China revealing its clamshell form factor. This smartphone will be the sequel to the Samsung SM-G9098 launched last year.

Though the Samsung SM-G9198 smartphone sports a dated form factor, the device seems to boast of superior specifications. The device is listed to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC housing a 1.8 GHz hexa core processor teamed up with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of native storage space.

The smartphone seems to have two screens measuring 3.91 inches with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels. The Samsung SM-G9198 appears to have a 16 MP main snapper and a 5 MP front facing selfie shooter. The other goodies of the device include a heart rate sensor and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

The Chinese certification website reveals that the Samsung SM-G9198 features a dimension of 119.7 x 66.6 x 16.7 mm. The device appears to have 4G LTE connectivity support as well.

For now, there is no word on the official announcement of the Samsung SM-G9198. Also, it is unlikely for this device to be launched in markets out of China.
