Samsung is giving a nice little treat for Galaxy On5 Pro owners in India. The company has officially released the Android 7.0 Nougat software update for the smartphone.
If you’re living in India, and are using a Galaxy On5 Pro, then you should probably download and install the latest update. The On5 Pro came with Android 6.0 Marshmallow on board and we expected it to receive the Nougat update.

And now, finally, after a long wait, the device is being updated to Nougat. The software update build number is G550FYXXU1CQL6 and the update will be available over-the-air. After updating, you should get several new features such as bundled notifications, Data saver, Quick reply from notifications, Quick settings, new Settings app, and much more.
We recommend you keep your device fully charged before installing the update and take a backup in case something goes wrong. Once again, this update is for the Galaxy On5 Pro, and we suspect that the On5 would also get an update soon. Android 8.0 Oreo, on the other hand, is very doubtful.
