Samsungs Unpacked event is just unwrapping and we’ve seen a bunch of epic announcements at this year’s Unpacked event. The first device to be revealed was the brand new Samsung Galaxy Fold that’s brought along a new category of devices altogether.
Apart from the smartphones, Samsung has also launched the Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Watch Active, and the Galaxy Fit. These new accessories work seamlessly with all other Samsung devices such as the new Galaxy S10s as well as the Galaxy Fold.
Galaxy Watch Active
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active is a super sporty new watch which looks pretty great as well. The Galaxy Watch Active comes with Samsung’s own Tizen 4.0 OS which brings along a host of new features and possibilities.
Samsung’s new Galaxy Watch Active is also the only smartwatch to support blood pressure monitoring as well. This new successor to the Gear Sport does indeed have everything you could need from a smartwatch.

The Galaxy Watch would be available for purchase from the 8th of March at a price of $199.99 in Silver, Black, Rose Gold, and Sea Green color options.
Galaxy Fit
The Galaxy Fit is the new Fitness tracker geared towards fitness enthusiasts. Samsung’s Galaxy Fit brings forward a stylish design and a host of new functions all while remaining sleek and extremely stylish.
Here are the specifications of the Galaxy Fit:
- 0.95-inch Full-color AMOLED touch display.
- Water resistant of 5ATM.
- 120mAh battery.
- Samsung Realtime OS.
Samsung, unfortunately, hasn’t shared the pricing details for the Galaxy Fit; however, the device would be launching sometime in Q2 this year in Black and Silver color options.
Samsung Galaxy Buds
The next generation of cord-free earbuds from Samsung is finally here. The new Galaxy Buds are the successor to the Gear IconX and are aiming to take on the Apple AirPods.
Samsungs Gear IconX earbuds were geared towards fitness users and did come with a heart-rate monitor as well; however, the Galaxy Buds are aimed at everyday users who simply want to be cord-free.
Here are the specifications of the Galaxy Buds:
- 5.6g per earbud.
- 58mAh batteries (each earbud).
- 252mAh battery with the charging case.
- USB Type-C or Qi-wireless charging.
- 6 hours of Bluetooth streaming and up to 5 hours of calls.
The Samsung Galaxy Buds would cost $129.99 and come in Black and White color options. The Galaxy Buds would be available starting March 8th.
