Samsung pushes an update to Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge with July security patch [Download]

Samsung is rolling out July security patch for its last year’s flagship devices, Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. The update comes with build number G930FXXU1DQG1 for Galaxy S7 and G935FXXU1DQG1 for Galaxy S7 Edge.

The update is currently rolling out over-the-air and will reach your devices automatically. However, if you’d not like to wait for the OTA update to arrive, you can grab the full Odin flashable firmware files for both the devices from the download links below.

Your Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge should be running on Android 7.0 Nougat to receive this update. The update takes care of various security vulnerabilities and brings along fixes to existing bugs.
