Just yesterday, the Galaxy A3 2016 with Nougat on-board stopped by at the Wi-Fi Alliance suggesting that the update will be rolled out soon. Now, its bigger siblings, the Galaxy A5 2016 and the Galaxy A7 2016 have been cleared by the Wi-Fi Alliance, too, running Android 7.0 software.
Needless to say, this means that Samsung has finished preliminary testing of Nougat on A5 2016 and A7 2016, and thus the update is expected to be rolled out to both the smartphones real soon. So, all the Galaxy A5 and A7 users, get ready for some sweet treatment to Android 7.0 pretty soon.
Speaking of which, once both the devices receive the update, they should be able to utilize all the goodies Nougat has in its stores. In case you are wondering, you’ll get the much touted split screen mode (fav for multi-taskers), revamped notification shade, improved Settings menu, and an enhanced Doze mode to improve the battery life of your smartphone.
Samsung updated its AT&T Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Note 5 to Android Nougat yesterday, an update that was long due for both handsets. But, that is apart from another Nougat rollout taking place for Sprint Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
Once Samsung is done finishing remaining rollout for its new and old flagships, we think it will begin rollout for the Galaxy A3 2016, A5 2016 and A7 2016. This should be followed with Nougat rollout for Galaxy J7, where users with variants like J7 Prime, J7 2016 and J7 2016 are waiting for the 7.0 build.
Also to come with the update are various improvements in terms of system performance and stability and security.
