Samsung has launched an updated version of the Galaxy J3 Pro in China called the Galaxy J3 Pro Plus. The only difference you’ll notice is the slight design change on the sides of the smartphone as well as on the back which now features a metallic texture.

Although the back is still made of polycarbonate like the one on Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro, it feigns a metallic look. Apart from this, there’s no other change. Nope, not even in terms of internals.

The Galaxy J3 Pro Plus still features a 5.0-inch Super AMOLED HD display which dominates most of the front. At the heart of the device is a 1.2GHz quad-core chipset that is hooked to 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable (up to 128GB) onboard storage.

The imaging department is taken care of by an 8MP f/2.2 sensor at the back and a 5MP f/2.2 sensor at the front. The dual-SIM smartphone comes with standard connectivity options such as USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS, and the like. There’s a 2,600mAh battery which provides the juice for the handset.

Samsung’s Galaxy J3 Pro has recently made it to Flipkart after being launched in India last month. The device, which is actually priced at Rs. 8,490 is available at a discounted price of Rs. 7,990.
