Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Z Trifold, its first tri-folding smartphone, showcased at the APEC 2025 summit in South Korea.

A groundbreaking device, the Galaxy Z Trifold opens up with two folds inward, creating a large 10-inch display when fully unfolded. This design is different from other foldables by folding the sides inside, offering protection to the delicate screen. When folded, it has a 6.5-inch outer display similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 7, complete with a punch-hole selfie camera. Both displays boast a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support, delivering vibrant visuals and seamless user experience.

Under the hood, the Galaxy Z Trifold runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the same high-end processor in Samsung's Galaxy S25 series. It comes with up to 16GB of RAM ensuring smooth multitasking and gaming performance. The device includes a triple rear camera setup highlighted by a 200MP primary sensor, complemented by ultra-wide and telephoto lenses, promising impressive photography capabilities up to 100x digital zoom.
