A couple of months ago, a support page for Samsung’s Galaxy Xcover 4 went live on the company’s Canadian official website indicating that it will be launched real soon. It seems like the company is all geared up to launch the smartphone.
We say this as a new report from MobileSyrup suggests that Bell has locked down June 23 to launch the handset in Canada. There’s no official word from Samsung, though.
As you may already know, the Galaxy Xcover 4 comes as the successor to the Xcover 3 which was launched back in 2015. As is the case with other phones in the Xcover line, the Xcover 4 features a rugged body and is aimed to cater the needs of adventure seekers.

It comes with an IP68 certification and has also been MIL-STD 810G certified so as to help the device survive extreme environmental conditions. When it comes to the internals, the Xcover 4 features a 5-inch HD display, Exynos 7570 SoC hooked to 2GB of RAM. There’s also 16GB of onboard storage which is further expandable. Y
The Xcover 4 runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and is backed by a 2,800mAh battery.
