The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is constantly making it to the news with continuous leaks posted by various sources. This upcoming AMOLED tablet from Samsung is due an official announcement on June 12, but looks like the leaks about this premium tablet are never going to stop anyway. The previous leaks shows a brilliant AMOLED screen and few other specs but the latest leak shows a few retail pictures of this 10.1 inch monster and reveals some of its new features too.
We’ve seen few leaks of the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 too in the recent days which comes with a super stunning 6.5 mm thick body, and now the retail features show a similar thin design on the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 too. At 6.6 mm thick, the 10.1 inch tablet is probably the thinnest among all the tablets of same size. But the tablet is not as light as its sibling Galaxy Tab S 8.4, bearing a tremendous weight of 465 gms, the tablet weighs almost 1.6 times more than the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 which just weighs 287 gms.
The rear of the tablet sports the perforated texture that is debuted on the company’s current flagship device Galaxy S5 which clearly hints that Samsung is trying to build the upcoming Tab S series with the best premium tablets line-up. The thin gold brushed copper bezels on the sides of the tablet adds more beauty to it and the overall looks of the tablet are stunning.
We all have already heard the news that Galaxy Tab S tablets will come with some latest features like Fingerprint Scanner (which is used for device unlocking, file security and Paypal payments), Ultra Power Saving Mode (for saving the battery consumption), that are debuted on Galaxy S5. Now the latest leak of the retail images reveal that the Galaxy Tab S will also come with features like Remote PC, which is already features on Samsung’s Galaxy Note PRO. This feature lets you control your PC from your tablet, which comes handy in some occasions.
There’s another good news for those who use a Samsung Smartphone along with the Galaxy Tab S, which is the Tab S can sync with the phone and allow you to take incoming calls directly from the tablet. Whenever an incoming call originates, a small Smartphone like window appears on your tablet, no matter on whatever app you are on, and lets you attend the call directly on your Tab S.
Just recapping the earlier leaks, the Galaxy Tab S tablets will sport a Quad HD AMOLED display (2560×1600 resolution), powered by an octa-core Exynos 5420 processor with Mali-T628 graphics support backed up by 3 GB of RAM. The photography section is well-managed by a 8 MP rear camera and 2.1 MP front-facing cameras. The device comes with 32 GB of internal storage which is expandable via a microSD slot. Running on the Android 4.4.2 KitKat, with Samsung’s new Magazine UX, the Tab S series is expected to hit the stores by the end of June.
