AT&T recently launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, and not wanting to be left behind, T-Mobile has done the same, with the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 now arriving in the carrier’s stores, though the online store still mentions it as “coming soon”, while no pricing info is yet available.
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 sports a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 processor, 10.1″ PLS display (1280 x 800 pixels), 1GB RAM, 3 megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, 16GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 7000 mAh battery, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (update to Android 4.1 planned).
The Tab 2 10.1 will use T-Mobile’s 42mbps HSPA+ network for data connectivity on the move, which should enough for most and not make the missing LTE too much of a problem. We’ll keep an eye out for when T-Mobile stocks the tablet in its online store and releases details on the price, and let you know accordingly.
