Samsung Galaxy S8 overclocked to achieve 7100+ score in multi-core

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are very powerful smartphones, running either the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 or the Samsung Exynos 8895 processor.

You will notice a lot of performance improvements over the previous Galaxy S7, but some people want to have more. A Galaxy S8 running the Exynos 8895 processor has been overclocked to run at 2.5 GHZ, and that results in some impressive GeekBench scores.

With the stock frequency, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ with Exynos 8895 scores 6338 points in the multi-core test. That number went up to 7101 with the overclocked settings, which is pretty awesome. And according to the report, there have been no issues with the overclock, and it’s very stable.

The Snapdragon 835 variant scored 6106 points in the multi-score test, which is almost a 1000 points lower. So yeah, if you are into overclocking, you should probably get the a Galaxy S8 or S8+ with an Exynos 8895 chipset.
