Samsung’s current flagship, the Galaxy S7 Edge may come with all the bells and whistles from Samsung. Featuring top of the line specifications and one of the best smartphone cameras in the world, you may think that there’s no need to flash a custom ROM. In all actuality a custom ROM will absolutely make your S7 Edge go over the edge (pun intended).

On that note, an unofficial build of Lineage OS 14.1 is out for the Galaxy S7 Edge. With this ROM you’ll be able to experience more than just what Samsung offers. You don’t have to stick with the mediocre themes present on the play store, with Lineage OS giving you full customization.

An unofficial build of Lineage OS 14.1 — the most popular custom ROM right now — is now available for the Galaxy S7 Edge, giving you the opportunity to experience Android 7.1.1 on your device.

The unofficial build may come with a few minor bugs which shouldn’t affect day to day performance. These bugs should eventually make its way out once the ROM is updated.

As for the official release, it should be out pretty soon once the Lineage team have fully completed the transition from CyanogenMod to Lineage OS.
