Samsung is now finally rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users. Although official date for the rollout was set for January 17th, but the company is distributing the final software to users who participated in the Beta program first.

The Galaxy S7 Edge Nougat update is coming with firmware build G935FXXU1DPLT. The update is 214.19MB in size. We don’t have the build for Galaxy S7 but should be something similar.

The update is currently on the roll as we speak and is only gradually rolling out. If you haven’t received the update notification yet, head over to device Settings » Software Update section and check for it manually.

A full firmware for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Nougat update should be available once the update is available for everyone, currently it is available for the users who signed up for beta program only.
