Lately, there are details surfacing about a new device allegedly dubbed Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. It is expected to be a larger device with a bigger form factor than the Galaxy S6 Edge.
Now, an entrusted source has posted a render of the unannounced Galaxy S6 Edge Plus as seen below. The source has also shared the possible dimensions of the device showing that it could measure 154.45 x 75.80 x 6.85 mm. This tips that the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus might boast of a 5.5 inch display and not a 5.7 inch one as speculated previously.
Apart from the difference in the size, the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will be almost similar to the Galaxy S6 Edge. The upcoming device is said to be powered by a hexa core Snapdragon 808 processor and not the in-house octa core Exynos 7420 SoC. The device might be the first smartphone from Samsung to arrive with the RAW photography support. The same might also arrive to the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge at some point.
The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is said to be announced in the third quarter of this year. It is expected to be expensive than the Galaxy S6 that is already priced heftily.
