The Samsung Galaxy S6 came with impressive hardware aspects such as fingerprint scanner, wireless charging and so on. But, there are some aspects that the device misses out including micro SD card, removable battery and water resistant build that were included in the Galaxy S5.
However, there are reports that Samsung will bring the water resistance feature to the rugged variant of its flagship, Galaxy S6 Active. We also saw a few leaks confirming the existence of the device.
Now, a Reddit user has posted that he had a meeting with a Samsung Europe representative who divulged some details about the Galaxy S6 Active. He revealed that the device will not feature a heart rate sensor or fingerprint scanner, but it will be arriving with a micro SD card slot as in the previous generation Samsung devices. He also stated that the camera on the Galaxy S6 Active will not be as capable as that in the Galaxy S6 and that it might arrive in mid-summer.
There are possibilities to witness a change in these rumored hardware features of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. We can expect Samsung to consider adding a fingerprint scanner on the device before releasing it. It is likely to feature a 3,500 mAh battery under its hood.
