As per a recent report, the Galaxy S5 Neo smartphone is available for pre-orders by some of the retail stores in Czech Republic for a price equivalent to $490. One of the retailers in the region has listed that the delivery date will be July 3.
Going by the previous reports, the device is a mid-ranger that makes use of Samsung’s in-house Exynos 7580 SoC housing a 1.6 GHz octa core Cortex A53 processor and Mali-T720 graphics unit.
The chipset might have an higher model number than the existing ones, but it is not as powerful as the octa core Exynos 5422 SoC or the quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC that are used in the Galaxy S5 models.
The Galaxy S5 Neo smartphone will boast of a 5.1 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and make use of 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of native storage space that can be further expanded using a micro SD card slot.
