We all know the launch of the Galaxy S4 Mini is an inevitable event that will occur sometime after the launch of the Galaxy S4, but according to Sammobile, the inevitable might have been delayed by almost two months – the S4 Min’s release has apparently been delayed from week 21 to week 29.

The Galaxy S4 Mini will launch in both single and dual SIM variants, as well as an LTE-enabled variant. The single SIM variant will be powered by a quad-core processor, while the dual SIM version will have a dual-core processor underneath. What this means, if true, is that unlike the Galaxy S3 Mini, its successor (at least the single SIM model) will be quite a fast device despite its Mini tag, which should make a lot of prospective customers happy.

As for other specs, the Galaxy S4 Mini will have a 4.3″ qHD (960 x 540) Super AMOLED display, 1GB RAM, an 8-megapixel camera, 8/16GB built-in storage and a microSD slot, the usual slew of connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS et all, and run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with Samsung’s Nature UX 2.0 customization on top.

To be honest, this delay isn’t surprising – the Galaxy S4 is going to be the talk of the mobile world for a good few weeks after its launch in late April, so Samsung will be making sure to take a bit of time to launch its smaller brother. Either way, the Galaxy S4 Mini is coming, though you’ll have to wait just a little longer if purchasing it was something you were planning on.
