The recently announced Samsung Galaxy S3 mini comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box and the first firmwares for it are out now. Labeled as ‘I8190XXALJL’ and based on Android 4.1.1.
So should you break your phone while rooting or installing a vanilla flavored custom Android ROM, you now know where to look for to get your phone back in factory state. The procedure of downloading and flashing a stock ROM is similar between all Samsung Galaxy devices. Just boot into download mode using ‘Volume down + Power key + Home key’ and use Odin on your PC to flash a firmware.
For those of you who don’t know, Samsung announced the Galaxy S3 Mini at an event in Frankfurt on October 11. The phone’s specs include 4 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, 1 Ghz NovaThor U8420 dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 5 megapixel camera, NFC, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.
The Galaxy S3 Mini comes in Black and White shades with a price tag of 400 euro.
