Thought of Samsung Galaxy S2, anybody? But here is this rumor that points towards an early 2011 release of Galaxy S2, codenamed as i9200. We are sure what’s coming next is hard to believe and even we won’t want to believe unless this is solidified with some official word.
Russian site iTrans speak of an Android phone identified as Galaxy S2 with 4.3 inch ‘Super AMOLED 2’ display running a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The beast is said to be powered by whopping 2Ghz processor — we heard it for Motorola, then HTC with Sabor and now Samsung too jumps on the rumored 2ghz processor bandwagon — along with 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM, 32GB of internal memory and 32GB of expandable external memory.
It’s not over yet, though. There is an 8 megapixel camera capable of recording full HD video (1080?). What’s more, the rumor has mixed Apple’s gyroscope too with accelerometer and proximity and ambient light sensors.
Need we say, it’s said to come with Android 3.0, Gingerbread on-board. That was obvious for you, no?
Now there is some earthly stuff also. That’s the availability of A-GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi b/g/n.
That’s the rumor cocktail, I would say. Even with a pic, this rumor is totally insane.
Well, we don’t accept the rumor until and unless an official word is thrown. It was more of a trip down the memory lane of what we know until now, about smart phones. The rumor has all the knowledge of a regular Android fan tripped into single post. Gyroscope in Samsung device… are you kidding us.
