Samsung’s upcoming dual-SIM Galaxy S Duos has gotten a price tag of Rs. 17,900 (~$330) in India, and is also available for pre-order from Samsung’s online store. Samsung is also throwing in a free Bluetooth headset worth Rs. 1299 for those who pre-order the device.
The Galaxy S Duos supports always-on dual-SIM functionality. Other specs of the device include a 1 GHz Cortex-A5 processor (single-core), 768MB RAM, 4″ WVGA TFT display, 4GB internal storage (expandable with microSD card), 5 megapixel rear camera with VGA video recording, VGA front camera, Wi-Fi b/g/n, 7.2Mbps HSPA, Bluetooth 3.0, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The 1500 mAh battery is quoted at 520 minutes of talk time and up to 570 hours of standby, which is pretty good considering it has to keep two SIM cards connected to the network.
Hit the link below if you’re interested in pre-ordering the Galaxy S Duos. At Rs. 17,900, I’m not quite sure how good a deal it is, but I’m sure there are some takers. Street pricing should be lower, so it’s probably better to wait (unless you want that free Bluetooth headset).
