Samsung is yet to make an official announcement for the Galaxy Premier, a device which has appeared in numerous rumors that have given us all its details, but it seems that at least its Chinese variant (model number GT-I9268) is already primed up for a launch very soon, as the Galaxy Premier has appeared in an advertisement on a billboard in China’s Guangzhou City.
The Galaxy Premier is similar to the Galaxy Nexus in many aspects, but will not be a Nexus device and instead run Samsung’s TouchWiz-ed version of Android 4.1. Its currently known specs include a 1.5GHz dual-core TI OMAP4470 processor, 1GB RAM, 4.65″ Super AMOLED HD display (1280×720 pixels), 8 megapixel camera, and 16 GB storage along with microSD expansion, all of which make for an effective mid-range Android smartphone.
With the advertisements already put up for the Galaxy Premier, an official announcement should be incoming any day. Hurry up Samsung, we’ve waited long enough.
