Samsung had officially announced the Galaxy Music phone earlier this month, but had not commented upon a release data and pricing at the time. Word has it that it will be available in the UK next month.
O2 has already listed the budget-music phone from Samsung on its website, with a Coming Soon: November tag. While pricing is yet unconfirmed, with the release data imminent, we should hear about the price soon enough too.
The Samsung Galaxy Music is a low-end smartphone running on Android 4.0, made keeping the music buffs in mind, with features such as dual front speakers, support for audio formats such FLAC and OGG out of the box, Sound Alive and SRS sound technology, a built-in FM antenna, and even an integrated 9 Lumen WVGA projector.
The Galaxy Music has 4GB of internal storage plus an expandable microSD slot which supports upto 32GB, more than enough room for your music library. As for other specs, the Galaxy Music is powered by an 850 MHz Cortex A9 processor, 512MB of RAM, a 3.0 QVGA (320×240) display, 3 megapixel fixed-focus camera (no Flash), WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, Wi-Fi Direct, a 1300 mAh battery, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The handset is also expected to get an update to Android 4.1 at a later point.
