Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 has been under the rumor radar for quite some time now. It has already paid a visit to various certification sites and its release is expected anytime now. As per past reports, Samsung plans to release this 2017 iteration of Galaxy J7 via various carriers, one such being Cricket Wireless. However, on the carrier it will not be known as Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 but as Galaxy Halo.

Coming from renowned tipster Evan Blass, the report seems legit. Also, the images of the device uploaded by the tipster do not support the claim of past leaks suggesting dual rear camera set-up for J7 2017. Thus, it seems the GFXBench listing showing a 12MP camera combo for the front and rear of the device shall hold true.

Galaxy J7 2017 will be equipped with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, as per GFXBench listing. The phone will run Android 7.0 Nougat and will be powered by Exynos 7870 processor paired with Mali-T830 GPU chip. Underneath it will pack in 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

Samsung is also working on the 2017 versions of two other J-series devices namely Galaxy J3 2017  and Galaxy J5 2017. Galaxy J3 2017 is touted to feature a 5-inch 720p TFT while Galaxy J5 will reportedly sport a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED HD display.
