Verizon Wireless has added another budget phone to its postpaid and prepaid services. Dubbed Samsung Galaxy J3 3rd Gen or Galaxy J3 V 3rd Gen depending on which plan you go for, the device was first launched in early June, but now it’s available for purchase on the Big Red.

Here’s all you need to know about the Galaxy J3 3rd Gen or J3 V 3rd Gen for that matter.

Samsung Galaxy J3 V 3rd Gen specs

  • 5-inch HD display
  • Exynos 7884A processor

Like many other Samsung phones that will be released this 2018, the Galaxy J3 3rd Gen has Bixby Home app on board and it also gets Samsung’s Easy Mode UI for larger icons and fonts. Of course, you are also getting a device that supports 4G LTE connectivity, but given its price tag, you’ll have to make do with the aging microUSB port for battery charging and data transfer.

Samsung Galaxy J3 V 3rd Gen pricing

For those who want nothing to do with contracts, the Galaxy J3 3rd Gen can be yours for just $125, a discount from the normal price of $168. The latter is the price you’ll pay when you take the postpaid channel, where Verizon is asking for $7 per month for two years. But of course, you can also pay this amount outright.
