There was a time not long ago when a 5-inch or even a 4.7-inch screen on a smartphone was regarded huge. Cut to now, we have phones with a display as big as 6.4-inches. In an era when large screened phones are all the rage, Samsung has launched a new phone called Galaxy Feel in Japan.

The highlight of the phone is its small footprint aimed at offering better one handed usage. The Galaxy Feel features a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD display and measures 67 × 138 × 8.3 mm in dimensions. It weighs about 149g which is fairly decent.

In terms of the internals, the smartphone is powered by an unspecified 1.6GHz octa-core chipset and packs 3GB of RAM. There’s 32GB of onboard storage space available. When it comes to imaging, the Galaxy Feel has a 16MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies.

Other features include Android 7.0 Nougat, support for LTE, and water and dust resistance. The device draws fuel from a 3,000mAh battery.

The Galaxy Feel comes in three different colors – Opal Pink, Moon White, and Indigo Black and will be made available for purchase on NTT DoCoMo in mid-June. Do note that the smartphone has been launched exclusively for the Japanese market and it’ll likely stay there. Meaning, it may not be launched globally.
