We all know Samsung isn’t going to be content with launching just a couple of devices like the Galaxy S4 or the S4 Mini and is no doubt working on multiple devices for release this year. One of these devices may be the Galaxy Core, pictures and specs of which have leaked online courtesy of Russian website Hi-Tech.
Sporting dual SIM functionality, the Galaxy Core is expected to launch in countries like Russia and China sometime next month. It is a mid-range package by all accounts – a 4.3″ WVGA display takes up the front, with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 768MB RAM under the hood for powering the device.
There’s also expected to be a 5-megapixel rear camera, 8GB of internal storage expandable via microSD slot, connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The battery is said to be an 1,800 mAh unit, which should provide plenty of juice for the meager specs.
The Galaxy Core should be priced around €320, though nothing is confirmed yet. The photos do look pretty real though, and with Samsung’s knack to come up with multiple devices, I’d say the device does exist and should be officially unveiled soon.
