The Samsung Galaxy A8 has been leaking a lot since quite sometime. Recently, it was spotted on Zauba, the import export tracker as it was shipped to India for testing before its launch. Now, the new renders of the smartphone have got leaked showing the next member of the Galaxy A lineup.
The render looks official and there is information on the possible price tag of the Galaxy A8 as well. While it is speculated that the Galaxy A8 will be going official in China on July 17, an online retailer in Vietnam has listed the smartphone for a price of VND 10,990,000. Also, a leaked promotional leaflet in Malaysia reveals that it will go on sale for MYR 1,888. These figures translate approximately to $500 or €450.
Going by the previous reports, the Galaxy A8 is likely to feature a 5.7 inch Full HD 1080p Super AMOLED display and run on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The device is said to pack in 32 GB of native storage space and 2 GB of RAM.
The other goodies of the Galaxy A8 include a 16 MP main snapper with LED flash, a 5 MP selfie shooter, octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC, a 3,050 mAh battery and a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button.
