It looks like Samsung is already testing the Galaxy A5 2018 as it (with the model number SM-A5300) has been spotted paying a visit to Geekbench with 6GB of RAM onboard.

The listing also reveals that the device will be powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC and that it will boot Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. It goes without saying, however, that there will be the company’s custom skin aka Samsung Experience on top of it.

Apart from the said details, nothing else has been revealed by the Geekbench listing.

If we were to speculate, most of the other specs should remain unchanged when compared with its predecessor. In other words, the device should still feature a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 16MP rear and front cameras, and a 3,000mAh battery.

All said, there are few rumors hinting that the Samsung Galaxy A5 Pro is in the making and this could very well be it. So, take it with a pinch of salt. We will update you with more information as and when we learn something new. Until then, keep an eye on this space.
