We all love to see a teardown of new devices, because there’s just something about them that excites us, and websites like iFixit do a great job at opening up a new Android smartphone or tablet and laying bare their internals for all to see. It’s very rare though, to see the manufacturer of the device itself to do such teardowns for the consumers, but Samsung has decided to try its hand with the Galaxy Note 2, the 5.5-inch “phablet” that has been available for quite some time now.

While it is not a very detailed teardown, mainly because Samsung has not provided photos for each and every step of the teardown process, they’ve still explained each part that goes into making a Galaxy Note 2 the amazing device it is, such as the digitizer that makes the S Pen stylus work, display, the processor, memory and connectivity chips, and even the details of the case and bracket that holds the device together.

If you own a Galaxy Note 2 and want to know what makes the device tick all the right boxes, head to the source page to get a full explanation of all the parts and teardown. Just don’t start opening the phone yourself in order to take a more closer look, because Samsung surely isn’t going to entertain any warranty requests if something goes wrong because of that.
