Ever since Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 was announced at MWC 2017 at Barcelona, everyone has been eagerly waiting to get their hands on Samsung’s latest take on the tablet segment. Unfortunately, for our readers in UK, the wait has now substantially increased by a week.
Originally poised to start shipping on March 30, the company now mentions their tablet to be available by April 7. The week long delay could be due to a number of reasons and while the tech giant has been silent about the issue in general, the most reasonable cause for the delay seems to be slow production for the tablet in order to make way for its bezel-less brother, Samsung Galaxy S8.
Although the issue may also be a simple lack of supply for the device in the UK region, unless Samsung provides us with further clarification, all we can do is speculate at this point.
Already having received its first security update, development seems to be in full swing for Samsung’s latest offering and with a relatively powerful specsheet, this tablet may very well be the game changer Android’s stagnant tablet industry needs.
The Galaxy Tab S3 comes with a 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display and includes Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage expandable storage. Furthermore, the Tab features a 13-MP rear camera and a 5-MP selfie snapper. The device is powered by a massive 6,000mAh battery which should do good for keeping up with a massive screen size. Although the device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, expect an update to Android O down the line.
The device comes in Black and Silver variants in the UK and is available for pre-order now for £599. Users who pre-order the device before March 31st will also receive an optimised keyboard book cover worth £119, the only catch being that the offer is valid until stocks last. Excited yet? Go ahead and Pre-order your device now.
