Samsung’s Galaxy J3 and J5 2016 handsets could soon get the Nougat update.

We say this as both of them with the model numbers SM-J320A, SM-J320AZ, and SM-J510F have been cleared by FCC with Android 7.0 Nougat onboard.

The Galaxy J3 2016 with the model number SM-J320AZ is commonly referred to as the Galaxy Amp Prime and is available at Cricket Wireless.

While at AT&T, the J3 2016 is referred to as Galaxy Express Prime. It’s worth pointing out that these two models of the smartphone will also be upgraded to Nougat once the update is out.

Speaking of which, there’s currently no word on when the update will roll out to the Galaxy J3 and J5 2016 handsets.

But once it’s out, you will be able to utilize all the features Nougat has to offer on your device. To recall, you’ll get an updated notification shade, improved Doze mode, split-screen mode, and much more.
