Lately, smartphone launch events are no longer a secret. Gone are the days when leakers used to work hard to get their hands on info about unreleased smartphones as companies are “leaking” the info themselves.

A case in point is where Xiaomi recently held a “mini-launch” of the upcoming flagship Xiaomi Mi 9, revealing basically all there is to know about this phone ahead of the main launch event. The event came after a series of social media posts from the company’s top officials revealing details of the phone bit by bit. This, by all means, is to attract attention from both fans and the media while at the same time steal the show from the competition – Samsung.

With Samsung set to hold its Unpacked event on the same day as Xiaomi’s Mi 9 launch event, the Korean company has responded in emphatic fashion by airing a TV ad in Norway ahead of the main event. The ad not only reveals the Samsung Galaxy S10 handset from multiple angles, but it also shows off the upcoming Galaxy Buds.

Apparently, the TV ad was published by mistake, which tends to be the case every other time such info pops up. Even so, there isn’t much the ad reveals that we didn’t know already about the S10 and Buds.

In the ad, we can see the notch-less Galaxy S10+ in all of its Infinity O display glory, a dual-selfie camera, a tri-lens camera on the back and we also get to see the ultra-sonic fingerprint sensor and reverse wireless charging in action.

All of this shall be showcased at the company’s Unpacked event to be held tomorrow, February 20th. You can check out the TV ad below, which was first spotted by The Verge.
