A blazing hot rumor has arrived and it’s got even us super excited — the upcoming Galaxy J7 2017 (model no. SM-33x) from Samsung may sport dual cameras according to a reliable source on Weibo.

Does this mean that the J7 2017 would overtake the alleged Galaxy C10 Plus? Or Galaxy C10, for that matter, as nothing in set in stone yet as to which would be first Samsung phone to don dual camera. We’re not entirely sure about the camera resolution but we could expect the device to pack in 16MP dual lenses. The C10 Plus is originally rumored to tout dual shooters, but none of this information is verified in any sense, so we’re still in rumor land.

The Galaxy J7 2017 has been visiting many certification agencies ranging from FCC to WiFi Alliance. From what we already know about the upcoming smartphone, the device may run on the Exynos 7870 chipset coupled with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. This information is based on a GFXbench listing and still remains to be confirmed.

As for its siblings, the Galaxy J3 2017 is already out in the market and the Galaxy J5 2017 is set for release along with the J7 2017. The later two devices were today found out at a Samsung retail mode website.

Samsung will of course ship the Galaxy J7 2017 with Nougat out of the box. It should be Android 7.0, and we would expect an update to Android 7.1.1 to J7 2017 within months of its release. The device has been in the works for quite a while now and from the look of things, it should release by next month at the most.
