The HTC One X is now available in Canada on Rogers Canada with a $170 price ($169.99 to be exact) on select 3 years contracts, and $624.99 if you decide to buy it outright without any contract. The One X will become the first Beats Audio™ sporting phone to be available in Canada, not to mention the first of the HTC One series.
However, unlike the international One X, the one available through Rogers Canada will be sporting a dual-core Snapdragon S4 chipset instead of the quad-core Tegra 3, but that is something you’ll have to make do with if you wanna enjoy 4G LTE on the phone. The S4 is also quite a powerhouse, so it’s a good trade-off for LTE data speeds.
The internal storage will also be limited to 16 GB, with no expandable storage option. Other important specs remain the same i.e a 720p 4.7″ Super LCD2 display, 1 GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel camera, and of course, Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 with HTC’s Sense 4 UI on top.
So in case you were waiting to get your hands on a One X, and you’re okay with losing two processor cores and 16 GB of storage, you can head over to Rogers’ website to place your order right away.
