Realme took to Twitter to announce the release of a new OTA software update for its Realme 2 Pro phone, just a month after it was exclusively launched in the Indian market. A spin-off brand from Oppo, Realme caught the attention of the youthful Indian mass with its great budget offerings this year.

The update for the Realme Pro 2 phone bears the build number RMX1801EX_11.A.10_0100_201811100857. The changelog mentions several additional features and improvements including securing the phone with November security patch. Another addition is the ability to dismiss notifications with a single swipe.

While the phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, it comes with its own custom skin called ColorOS.

Just a few days ago the company had released the latest security patch for two more of its phones, the Realme 2 and C1. It seems like Oppo’s subsidiary company is dedicated to catering to the youth market and is, therefore, trying to create a fan-following by delivering timely updates to the discerning youth who generally tend to shape an OEM’s reputation by voicing their informed opinions both online and offline.
