Location & How to start Raven Quest 2 in the Forge
After completing Raven Quest 1, return to the Raven NPC, who now stands in front of the locked Raven Cave entrance behind the anvil area in Frostspire Expanse (Island 3). Speaking to Raven automatically starts Quest 2—no extra requirements needed.

Raven Quest 2 - All objectives and how to complete them
Quest 2 has three objectives that overlap heavily in location. Staying around Spider Cave and Frost Nest is still the fastest approach.

Objective 1 – Farm 1 Snowite
Snowite is a rare mining drop found in Frostspire Expanse.
Where to mine:
- Icy rocks
- Small ice crystals
- Icy pebble nodes

Best strategy:
- Mine every icy node you see while moving between spider spawns
- Do not leave Frostspire Expanse—Snowite only drops here
- Stronger pickaxes significantly reduce grind time
Most players obtain Snowite naturally while farming spiders if they mine consistently.
Objective 2 – Kill 10 Diamond Spiders
Diamond Spiders are tougher versions of Crystal Spiders and spawn around:
- Spider Cave
- Frost Nest
- Web-covered icy corridors

Combat tips:
- Pull spiders in small groups
- Heal between fights instead of pushing recklessly
- Avoid stacking enemies in narrow tunnels
Diamond Spiders spawn frequently, so this objective usually completes before the Prismarine Spider.
Objective 3 – Kill 1 Prismarine Spider
The Prismarine Spider is the most dangerous enemy in this quest and behaves like a mini-boss.
Where to find it:
- Deeper sections of the Frost Nest
- Still within the Spider Cave network

How to survive the fight:
- Keep moving to avoid sustained damage
- Use hit-and-run tactics
- Heal immediately after heavy hits
- Avoid fighting it alongside other spiders
With decent gear and patience, the fight is manageable, but rushing will often lead to deaths.
Best farming route for Raven Quest 2
For maximum efficiency:
- Start mining icy nodes near Spider Cave entrance
- Clear Diamond Spiders as they spawn
- Move deeper into Frost Nest only after most Diamond Spider kills are done
- Engage the Prismarine Spider last
This route minimizes deaths and ensures Snowite progress happens passively.
Raven Quest 2 rewards
Raven Quest 2 provides major progression rewards that unlock new zones and crafting paths.
- Raven Chestplate recipe unlocks
- Red cave key - unlocks Raven Cave
- Raven Quest 3 unlocks

Common mistakes to avoid
Raven Quest 2 is where the Raven storyline truly opens up. By completing it, you gain access to Raven Cave, Crimson Depths, and several late-game crafting systems. Take your time, stay near Spider Cave, and let objectives overlap naturally for the smoothest clear.
Avoid these mistakes to clear quickly:
- Fighting the Prismarine Spider too early
- Ignoring mining while farming spiders
- Pulling multiple Diamond Spiders without healing
- Leaving Frostspire Expanse to search for Snowite
